In his new role, the former\nRolls-Royce designer will lead Karma Design, a new business unit established to\nboth drive the company\u2019s unique design identity and syndicate its styling\nservices. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thurner, who arrived at Karma in 2016 as head of exterior design after leading Advanced Design and Design Innovation Management for the BMW Group, effectively replaces <a href=\"https:\/\/www.formtrends.com\/alexander-klatt-appointed-chair-of-mfa-transportation-design-at-ccs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Alexander Klatt (opens in a new tab)\">Alexander Klatt<\/a> as Karma\u2019s new head of Design. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also served as concept exterior designer and led exterior design projects at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars where, among other styling accomplishments he worked on the Rolls-Royce Ghost, Ghost Series II and the Rolls-Royce Dawn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-jetpack-tiled-gallery alignfull focus will\nbe to advance the design of an all-new fully-electrified global platform in\n2021. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new architecture is previewed by\nKarma\u2019s SC1 Vision concept, an expression of Karma\u2019s future technical\ndirection, a future state that\u2019s still based on stunning design proportions.\nThe company\u2019s new full-BEV program will spawn a variety of new models in
